TRIBUTE TO ASHA SAMAROO

Picture that little dash which is put between the dates of your birth and death. That little dash is meant to represent a person’s entire life. For Asha, what a significant dash that is. Her impact on people living with diabetes throughout the years is immeasurable.  I have known her for the last eight years and have seen her do so much throughout this time. Across Trinidad and Tobago, her efforts would have contributed to improving and even saving the lives of so many people as she educated, screened and advocated. Having lived with diabetes for many years, she was a champion for the cause, walking her talk with her branch, following her example.
